Full Service Turn-key design

UV-System contracts for full siphonic design services. As part of this service we often participate in early design to coordinate the routing of the siphonic systems in the BIM model. Siphonic is classified as engineered system and ASPE/ANSI 45 dictates very tight tolerances, meaning it is crucial that the installer is provided with significantly more detail than what is required for gravity. To address this we develop very detailed drawings of the siphonic systems and how the pipe relates to the building. Our BIM coordination work reduces the number of changes required in the field. With access to Professional Engineers licensed in all 50 States and in Canada we provide sealed IFC documents for all of our contracted projects. Additionally, as required by ASPE 45, we visit the project site for construction observation to review conformity with our calculations.

Design-Assist

UV-System provides no-charge training on our proven UV-Calc software. We believe it is important for engineers to develop intuition about siphonic systems, so we first train engineers on the fundaments of siphonic design followed by how to operate our software. We also provide ongoing support for both design and software.

Supply

UV-System supplies the most rigorously tested full range of drains in the industry. Our drains are listed or certified around the world including with IAPMO to ANSI/ASME 112.6.9, BBA referencing EN12056 and BS8490, Avis Technique by CSTB, LGA and others. ANSI/ASME 112.6.9 is used to measure a siphonic drain’s performance characteristics that engineers need in order to design siphonic roof drainage systems.
